I don't like going upstairs, I don't like wasting too much time doing nothing.<\/p>

Because except for Laramie, which may have an upcharge, Uber eats and Panda currently have a \"0\" upcharge.<\/p>

This is because although delivery is a piece-rate system, the pay is usually based on the hourly rate, which is calculated at 240 per hour.<\/p>

Receiving an order that takes 20 minutes to go upstairs is equivalent to an hourly rate reduction of $240\/3=$80.<\/p>

It can take up to 20 minutes, and it may not be a high-rise building, but there is a high probability that it is a collection of residential buildings in a large area, or a hospital or a department store.<\/p>

This leads to a very interesting situation.<\/p>

Customers love a delivery service that takes its responsibilities seriously, but the more serious the delivery service, the lower the pay.<\/strong><\/p>

Based on my many years of delivery, these will take more than 20 minutes on a free service order.<\/p>

The tip rate is always \"0\", and some people complain, \"Why are you so slow?\"<\/p>

And a large percentage of these customer complaints will fall on \"conscientious\" delivery workers<\/p>

Because the bad orders won't be undelivered, but it's not uncommon to be transferred and wait for an hour or two.<\/p>

On the contrary, delivery workers who refuse to go upstairs and refuse to take questionable orders will be paid higher salaries<\/p>

Panda has a rule that people below the 7th floor have to climb the stairs, and if they don't go up the stairs a few times, their rights will be suspended.<\/p>

However, I personally and sincerely suggest that it is better to go downstairs, and the transfer of orders is not entirely \"this order is not good\", because no matter which platform has a time bonus, if too long without delivery staff to send, the price of that order will be higher!<\/p>

Especially uber eats, which is one of the occasional sources of fat orders for Uber eats<\/p>

Transfer orders can be used as a form of bidding<\/p>

Assuming a low-difficulty 40 bucks is delivered.<\/p>

A medium-difficulty $80 time-distance cost is a good deal.<\/p>

But the system starts at 40.<\/p>

40, 50, 60, 70, 80. No one's going to take an order until it's cost-effective.<\/p>

Of course uber eats is not a charity.<\/p>

I've personally tested that time bonus and it keeps going down, just by looking at the time bonus.<\/p>

Starting price for the first 30 minutes, about a dollar a minute for the 30th to 60th minutes.<\/p>

That means the meal can go from $40 to $70 in an hour when it's ready on the table.<\/p>

There should be more and more in the future, but since the formula is not public, I can only grab a rough idea of the price.<\/p>

Otherwise, I can order a Dandan Burger delivery in Taipei, according to the time and distance of the delivery fee of up to 1,000 yuan to death.<\/p>

But in reality, no one will deliver without a $5,000 to $6,000 delivery fee.<\/p>

Personally, I don't have a problem climbing up five floors if I can get up there fast enough to put my food away.<\/p>

The free service time of one or two minutes is absolutely no problem, after all, waiting for the traffic light for a longer time can take two minutes!<\/p>

The worst thing is not having a place to park and being forced to walk around the whole building...hospitals, department stores, community buildings, and so on.<\/p>

The first time I went into a hospital department store I had to get lost for an average of 10-20 minutes, especially when some hospitals have two buildings, and even the elevator stops at the 1st, 3rd, and 5th floors, and that stops at the 2nd, 4th, and 6th floors.<\/p>
