Delivery Benefits - Employee Meals

There are times when customers are not able to receive their meals, which I call staff meals.

In the case of Panda, it's called "take-home", although I personally don't understand why it's called take-home.

You may have forgotten, not answered your phone, or you are about to leave the address you ordered from.

There are usually two situations

1. It is a situation where the customer does not pick up the order within 10 minutes after the delivery person arrives and does not notify the delivery person that the order can be left at the designated place, and almost all of the orders are cash orders.

If a customer doesn't pay, you can't leave him his meal.

Therefore, whether it's Panda or uber eats, if a customer doesn't answer the phone, doesn't reply to messages, or doesn't show up, they will cancel the order and notify the delivery person to take care of it themselves.

2. Customers may cancel the meal on their own initiative, or the delivery may be too slow to wait, or the wrong address may be used, which may also result in "Meal Cancellation".

When a meal is canceled, the platform's customer service will say "the meal will be taken care of".

It means that the meal is the delivery person's, so you can eat it, leave it for the customer, send it back to the store, or give it to someone else.

Usually the delivery person will choose to eat it or give it away.

I myself have taken a cold Fat Daddy, a mustache, some sandwiches, and so on.

Sometimes there are perks other than canceled meals.

Some stores will take the initiative to send some food to the delivery person, such as wrong drinks, canceled lunches, instant bread, extra pizza...and so on!

However, on the whole, it is not necessarily a good thing to eat staff meals, because there have been people who have eaten staff meals twice a month, suspected of cheating meal delivery staff, directly suspended permanently, the existing two platforms, the suspension of the right to complain almost all useless.
