Outbound Trip Fee Update
Make it worth your while!
As we previewed in our Q2 Outbound Information Guide, Uber Eats will soon be rolling out a major improvement update in Taiwan. This update is available first in Taoyuan and Yilan on July 22, 2025, and will be available in your area on:

July 29, 2025 (Tue) 06:00 AM Upline
In order to let you know early and be prepared, we'll help you stay on top of what's coming up by giving you a heads up on upcoming updates through this letter.
What will be different after the update?
Your base trip cost will still be calculated based on the estimated distance traveled (as determined by Uber Eats using the location-based service), the estimated time spent traveling, and/or the estimated wait time at the pickup and delivery locations.
1. Some of the additional trip challenge awards will be integrated into the base trip cost of the dispatch order.
According to the March Delivery Partner Satisfaction Survey, 84% of delivery partners indicated that they preferred to have the reward directly reflected in the base trip cost as opposed to the extra trip challenge.
As a result, the Platform will redistribute and consolidate a portion of the incentive payments that would otherwise be attributed to the Extra Trip Challenge into the Base Delivery Fee for each Dispatch.
In the future, you'll see an increase in the base trip cost of the average dispatch, with compensation more in line with overall delivery partner expectations.
2. Stacked basic trip cost will be estimated on a "per ticket" basis.
A delivery order may contain one or more trips, the estimated basic trip cost of a delivery order will take into account the estimated delivery time and distance of each delivery order. In the future, more emphasis will be placed on the overall delivery efficiency and the estimated cost rather than the number of trips in a delivery order. (The actual amount will be slightly different depending on the demand and supply of each delivery order.)
3. Dynamic factor escalation of the basic trip cost
This update is expected to enable more real-time response to delivery demand and supply, and provide rewards based on different delivery contexts and effort, helping make your overall delivery experience more efficient and giving you more options.
You still have the freedom to choose whether or not to go online and take orders, and you can earn extra money by participating in different incentives depending on your situation.
What's the difference when I actually take an order?
The dispatch card will present the estimated basic trip cost of all trips in the whole dispatch card at once. Each dispatch card is calculated based on the estimated delivery time, distance and other factors and the current market demand, so you may see different combinations and differences in the cost, which is a more dynamic and flexible enhancement of the system.

Single Trip Dispatch - Provides a more affordable trip even if the estimated time or distance is short.

Shorter Multiple Stacked Orders - If the overall estimated time, distance, and other dynamic factors are similar to the Single Trip Order (above), the trip cost may be the same.

Longer Multiple Stacks - Taking into account dynamic factors such as estimated time, distance, etc., the estimated trip cost is expected to reflect the amount you pay for this order.

Longer Multiple Stacked Orders - Even if the estimated time, distance and other dynamic factors are close together, the system may still offer different trip rates based on the current supply and demand situation.
If you find obvious anomalies in the process of using the system, such as abnormal trip cost (e.g. $$5) or abnormal delivery distance, you are welcome to help us to take a screenshot and report back through the form, so that we can continue to optimize the system to provide a more stable and reliable delivery experience. We will continue to optimize the system based on your feedback to avoid abnormal situations.
What do you need to do when you go online?

You don't need to make any changes

You still have the freedom to choose whether or not to go online, and the method of going online and taking orders that best suits your needs.
This update is an effort to continue to create a more reasonable and flexible delivery experience. We look forward to bringing you more diverse ordering opportunities and more stable income opportunities.
If you have any questions about this update, please feel free to provide feedback via the form or help contact customer service via the Partner App.
Thank you for your efforts and companionship, we will continue to make progress and move forward with you!
For details on this update, you can view the July 20, 2025 update to the Outbound Trip Fee Structure page.
You can view fee-related activities in the Partner App "Menu > Trip Fee" below.
"The progress of trips presented in the Extra Trip Challenge interface is still calculated on a per-trip basis. For example, if a Delivery Partner completes an order (a stacked order with two trips) and meets the terms of the Extra Trip Challenge campaign, the Wallet interface will show the total cost of the trips for that order, and the Extra Trip Challenge interface will count the two trips.
Highlights of the update
Simply put.
1. Reduce the trip bonus amount

115/15=7.666666……
The average trip reward per order has been reduced to less than $10.
But the last few bids are still attractive.
The actual run does feel like an increase in the basic cost, which makes me a bit lazy to go for the prize!
2. The second order may be less than $24.
That being said, I've been running around all day and haven't seen a second order under 24?
3. Clipping two orders at a time may only count as one trip.
This judgment is a bit of a mystery, because I currently run the results of the day or a single trip, clip two orders counted as two trips, there may be a very small number of too close or special orders will have this kind of thing.
Overall his goal is to lower the incentives on short orders and raise the amount on long orders.
The formula for the last trip is the same as the one for the last time.

The total result of running the top mark on Friday 6/1 was $8,397 and the running time was 30.5 hours.
Before, the program was going down with single 60.compute

Since I don't turn down long distance orders very much, it's kind of a raise overall????
The last two bids are so fat, it's amazing.
And the hourly rate is not quite accurate, because my average hourly rate this time is 275, or maybe it's because the empty car time is a bit too long, I have at least three hours empty.... I had at least 3 hours of free time... I was able to relax, refuel the motorcycle, go to the grocery store, eat, and so on.
Lastly, I would like to add the old system of trip bonuses for reference in May this year.
| 5/2-5/6 | accumulate | Time consumed (hours) | 60 per order | hourly wage |

10 | 310 | 105 | 2085 | 35.00 | 26.25 | 8385 | 240 | 319 |
There is almost no difference in the total earnings of the top bids, but the total earnings of the first few bids and the trip bonuses are lower.
