The breakdown of earnings for foodpanda delivery drivers is actually a bit more complicated than you might think. In this post, I’ll use my own actual data to explain foodpanda’s earnings structure.
How is Panda's revenue calculated?
Panda's revenue consists mainly of two parts:
- Fare per trip:For each completed trip, the system calculates a base fare based on distance and time of day.
- Prizes:If you meet certain criteria each week or each month, you can receive additional rewards.
Latest Bonus Structure for 2026:Based on my observations this month, Panda’s bonus system consists of the following tiers:
- Complete 30 or more trips per week to earn an extra 15 yuan per trip
- Complete more than 50 trips per week, and receive an additional 20 yuan per trip
- During peak hours (lunch: 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., dinner: 5:00–8:00 p.m.), an additional 10 yuan will be charged per trip.
My actual monthly income:If a delivery driver makes about 200 trips per month, plus bonus incentives, they can earn roughly 25,000–30,000 yuan per month. Of course, this figure is based on part-time work; I’ve heard that full-time drivers can earn as much as 50,000–60,000 yuan.
An important suggestion:Don’t just focus on the per-trip fare and overlook the bonuses. Sometimes, making a few extra trips to reach the bonus threshold is actually more profitable than constantly chasing high-fare trips. You need to be good at math to maximize your earnings.
