Before accepting a delivery order, what information on the order screen should you check first?

Before you rush to accept a delivery, take a moment to review the order screen as if it were a job description. If you don’t clearly check the estimated pay, pickup and drop-off locations, and item details, it’s often much harder to sort things out later if you discover discrepancies in the floor level, distance, or payment method.

What Should the Screen Display?

The Ministry of Labor’s guidelines for order information specify the estimated compensation, pickup and drop-off locations, driving route, estimated mileage and completion time, as well as the payment method, item details, and quantity. The base pay and bonuses must also be disclosed separately; a single total amount is not sufficient.

How to Make a Decision Before Accepting an Order

First, check whether both the pickup location and delivery location can be identified, then compare the distance, estimated time, and pay. When dealing with heavy items, large quantities of beverages, or unusual delivery locations, the number of items and floor information are better indicators of whether the order is suitable for your current vehicle and schedule than the total price.

When information is incomplete

Keep a screenshot of the visible order details and the time, and contact the platform to inquire about any missing fields. If you have already accepted the order, follow the platform’s official procedures; do not change the delivery address based on guesswork. In the event of a future dispute, the original screenshot will be easier to verify than a verbal account provided afterward.
