Just because you pick up two or three orders on the same trip doesn’t mean you can combine them into a single order with the minimum pay, nor does it mean your total earnings will necessarily be exactly twice or three times the amount of a single order. What matters is the service time and base pay for each individual order.
Count each transaction separately
The Ministry of Labor has stated that when orders are stacked, combined, or delivered along the same route, the platform must calculate the service time and base pay separately for each order. For every order involving a pickup and delivery location, the statutory minimum guarantee must be verified independently; a higher payment from one order cannot be used to offset a lower payment from another.
How do you read the overlap time?
The service periods for two orders may overlap, but each order has its own start and end times. Please review the platform’s detailed breakdown for each order; do not simply multiply the total minutes for the entire trip by the number of orders, and do not rely on a single total figure to determine whether the amount is sufficient.
When a discrepancy is found
Record two or three order numbers, along with the order acceptance and completion times for each, as well as the base pay and any additional compensation for each order. If the platform offers a biweekly settlement subsidy, you should still verify it separately from the base pay for each order; ask the platform to specify which order the subsidy applies to.
